The MPEG AhG on Responding to Industry Needs on Adoption of MPEG Audio released real-world interoperability test streams.
These bitstreams can be used to test the behaviour of your audio decoder in various real-world scenarios. They test whether an audio decoder is able to handle well-known pitfalls.

2015-10-02 new interoperability test package available

The MPEG AhG on Responding to Industry Needs on Adoption of MPEG Audio released an AAC metadata feature testset that allows to test if an HE-AAC decoder applies audio specific metadata, including program reference level, dynamic range control and downmixing. It consists of a number of AAC bit streams, designed in a way that allows for a rough verification of these features by simple listening to the decoder output. This is beneficial especially for testing real-time applications.
